When we encounter kittens at a trapping site we sometimes need to place them in a foster home to be socialized and cared for in an indoor environment while we apply for partner Rescue Organizations to intake them. The scenarios vary – sometimes we have a friendly nursing mom with the kittens, other times the kittens are weaned or near weaned.  The duration is usually 3- 6 weeks.
